In Japan they love bathrooms. In the style of the Arab countries, in Jápón they have their own hamans although, of course, much more sophisticated and with advanced techniques. It is worth it on a trip to Japan to visit one of these public toilets as personal experience and enjoyment.

- Do not carry the towel inside the bathtub.
- Take a good shower before entering.
- It is not allowed to wash clothes inside the bathtub.
- Dry yourself well before leaving.
- Don't waste water.
- Do not go into flip flops.

They are common sense norms although according to Kirai the last norm should be removed because of the athlete's feet (水 虫) that many Japanese acquire during the summer, making the ointments for such cutaneous disease one of the most sold in Japanese pharmacies.
